Dalia Hamati is an architect, educator and curator based in the UAE. Her work moves between architectural practice, research and exhibition-making, exploring relationships between ecology, material systems, climate and culture. She is an Assistant Professor of Architecture at the American University of Sharjah and a registered architect in New York State. Her recent work includes Rawdah: An Ecological Commons at AUS, ReRoot for Dubai Design Week, and Tarabot: Weaving a Living Forum at Jameel Arts Centre. She has practiced in New York and the UAE, including with Ennead Architects, and studied architecture at the University of Bath and Columbia University GSAPP.
